Obama’s Chief of Staff: On the no fly list? No 2nd amendment rights!

In May 2007 then Congressman Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) now Chief of Staff for Obama Administration, spoke at DC’s annual Stand Up For a Safe America event sponsored by the Brady Center where he said that if any American citizen’s name appeared on the Transportation Security Agency’s  No-Fly List then they should not be allowed to exercise their right to own a firearm.

It sounds reasonable enough, especially since time has shown us that the American psyche has not yet healed since the attacks of September 11, 2001. To illustrate this point, I was sent an e-mail forward of a new gun that is cleverly disguised as a common cell phone. The sender of the e-mail tried to make the point that people should not complain about the loss of liberties while being harrassed by the TSA during travel.

But back to the no-fly list. If you have followed current events, you already know that the government intelligence agency’s lists contain many Americans who are not terrorists, including children and even US senators. So Rahm Emanuel, whose own father was a member of a Jewish terrorist organization that bombed the King David Hotel in 1948, wants the executive branch to be the decider on who can and who cannot own a firearm, based on a fraudulent government blacklist. And it just so happens that Emanuel, his puppet President Obama and Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder are all notorious enemies of the 2nd Amendment.
